The role:
This job is based in Northern Ireland, UK; however, using our bespoke “Recruit and Relocate” service, Workforce will assist you in relocating if you do not live locally.
You will collaborate with other restaurant managers and report to the Restaurant Operations Manager. Your role will involve overseeing day-to-day operations and leading a team of 35-40 staff, including supervisors, waitstaff, and bar staff, to ensure the highest quality services and experiences for our guests.

The main responsibilities for this position:
- Efficiently run the restaurant on a day-to-day basis under the guidance of the Restaurant Operations Manager.
- Provide friendly, efficient service with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Ensure adequate staff coverage while achieving budgeted wage percentages.
- Build strong relationships with chefs and restaurant staff to drive sales and continually improve standards.
- Assist in the management, training, and leadership of the team to consistently meet and exceed standards.
- Ensure all team members are knowledgeable about the correct use, safe handling, and security of all equipment in the food and beverage service areas.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all restaurant menus to assist with guest queries.
- Stay up to date with resort facilities to upsell and maximize profitability.
- Demonstrate professional communication skills with guests, customers, and colleagues.
- Monitor team adherence to Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene regulations.
- Uphold the Resort's appearance and grooming standards.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and attend training sessions for personal development.
The person:
Applicants must:
- Minimum of 2 consecutive years of restaurant management/supervising experience.
- Experience in a high-paced, busy restaurant environment.
- Proficiency in opening and closing procedures, including till reconciliations and key holder duties.
- Flexible approach to working shift patterns, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to work well under pressure, demonstrating initiative and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong leadership, motivational, and team-inspiring abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Performance-driven with a focus on excellent customer service.
