- Salary: £30,000 per annum - increased to £40,023.96 per year once fully qualified.
- Permanent role and Full-time hours
- 07:15 until 20:30 with an hour’s unpaid break and a night shift is 20:15 to 07:30 with a 45-minute unpaid break. Staff can work a mix of day and night shifts.

- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Adult Nurse and working towards NMC pin registration in the UK
Role Duties & Responsibilities:
To assist the management team in the effective, operational management of the home, ensuring the comfort, health and safety and well-being of all people supported.
- To manage specified shifts on the house at the discretion of the Registered Manager / Deputy Manager.
- To strive for a caring and emotionally supportive environment, enabling people to achieve individuality and freedom
- To develop and maintain a culture in which people living with Epilepsy, supported by their advocates, where appropriate, are able to share in decisions, which affect their lives.
- To supervise the performance of support workers to ensure that high standards of care are maintained.
- To train and support members of the staff team and teach nursing associates post graduate nurses and students.
- To ensure that all procedures regarding the observation, recording and management of seizures and any other medical issues are carried out.
- Maintain and extend professional knowledge to keep abreast of current trends recommended by the NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council).
- To ensure that the standards set out by CQC (Care Quality Commission) are adhered to.
- To assist the Registered Manager / Deputy Manager in checking that the home’s workforce is properly deployed and that sufficient staff are on duty at any time to meet the requirements of the individual care plans and health and safety of the employees and people we support.
- To assist the Registered Manager/ Deputy Manager in identifying the needs of the clients by planning individual programmes of care and support, evaluating outcomes and a programme of risk management.
- To control and administer drugs to residents in accordance with the company policy in line with National and NMC guidelines.
